  • NWD PROJECTS / NATIONAL WATER DANCE -- NWD Projects is the sponsoring organization for National Water Dance (NWD), a site-specific, simultaneous performance across the United States bringing attention to water issues through the power of live performance. NWD is a bi-annual event engaging students, dancers, musicians and other artists in collaboration with environmental groups to inform both participants and audience members about our shared responsibility toward our environment and to increase awareness of and appreciation for all of our precious waters.

  • ARTISTS FOR CLIMATE ACTION -- The Climate Action Coalition is collaborating with Coalition organizational member Artists for Climate Action in sponsoring an action art postcard campaign. CAC/AfCA will be represented at the LTEM Symposium 2016 by Jesse Etelson, a founder of Artists for Climate Action. He will be available at the CAC/AfCA table to assist symposium attendees to fill out action art postcards on these subjects: Frack Free Florida; Planning, Educating and Protecting for Climate Resilience; and Strengthening our Health Infrastructure to prepare for increasing climate related diseases. The cards will be sent to State Representatives and Senators, County Commissioners and Federal Representatives by the Climate Action Coalition after the general election.

  • HANDS ON BROWARD -- We have three main intentions for participating; 1. To support this amazing initiative 2. To promote HandsOn Broward and HandsOn Miami 's mission. 3. To create awareness of HandsOn Broward's Project ROC! ROC stands for: Restoring our coastlines. This will be a monthly project starting August 12th. It will run until March 2017. The main goal is to remove all the non-native plants from Broward's coast and replant native mangroves. We are being part of a long-lasting, positive environmental impact in our region. HandsOn Broward mission is to inspire, equip and mobilize people to affect positive change in South Florida. By leveraging the power of people and socially responsible businesses, we have been transforming local communities through meaningful hands-on projects that make a difference since 1974.
