Our Mission:
To implement evolving strategies across the full spectrum of being which address the environmental, structural, cultural and spiritual problems plaguing the Florida Everglades by raising awareness and organizing positive community engagement at the local, regional, national and global levels.

Our Goals:
The goals of the Love the Everglades Movement (LTEM) are to restore the Everglades ecosystem. LTEM organization will focus holistically on the following issues in the short term (within 2-3 years):
- Advocate for the urgency of cleaning up the water
- Advocate for more water flow underneath the Tamiami Trail, according to the seasons, including through the S-12 structures located along the Miccosukee Reservation
- Oppose and Rescind Florida's Assumption of the Clean Water Act 404 Permitting Program, and Restore it to the EPA
- Advocate for the solution of the L-28 Interceptor Canal
- Support the cost-effective plan of clearing out existing culverts to allow water flow underneath the Tamiami Trail with the installation of swales on the south side
- Advocate for Respect of Miccosukee Sovereignty
- Integrate a Spiritual approach in our work
- Connect with as many people, communities and organizations as possible
- Continue the excursions (Field trips to the Everglades)
- Host educational workshops
- Mobilize communities for peaceful, non-violent direct actions
